Certainly it is early in the voting season but that’s not stopping Ted Cruz!

Determined to get a jump start on other potential Republican candidates, Ted Cruz made his announcement to run for president of the United States ahead of his likely competition. But Cruz has lots of baggage including the fact that he was NOT born in the United States! The fact that questions about his parent’s whereabouts during the time before and during his birth as well as whether or not his mother had resided within the continental United States for the required length of time before he was born has given way for many to wonder about his presidential eligibility. In addition to that, many have called Cruz a “Clown Car” and some mainstream Republicans seem to keep him at arm’s length.

Sure, these are only a few of Cruz’s problems. There are many more such as his stance on education, workers’ rights, women’s rights, fair wages, and dare I say, “Obamacare!” We’ll see if he will sign up for the program as he said he would now that his wife, Heidi, has to give up her insurance with Goldman Sachs while on the presidential campaign trail with Ted.

But how about that…??

Cruz, who does not want actual Americans to benefit from Obamacare (The Affordable Care Act) is talking about using it himself. Despite his promises to hard core right wingers he will destroy it if elected president. The funny thing is, he claimed he would only be “following the law” when signing up for Obamacare. Factually, however, he does NOT have to go through the health exchange to get covered. Our tax dollars are paying him well enough to allow him to go straight to the private sector to get insured. The only reason for him to go through the exchange is to utilize Obamacare subsidies that will save him money. Just like it saves money for Americans. Americans he, an outsider, claims to be against but wants to utilize to protect his and his family’s health! [Hypocritical??]
